Transform the Globe is written and compiled by Scott and Emily Armstrong. We have served as missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene since August 2003 and we have two wonderful children: Elijah and Sydney.
We each have graduated with a B.S. from Olivet Nazarene University and a M.Div. from Nazarene Theological Seminary. During our missions adventure we have lived in Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, the Dominican Republic, and now Argentina.
Scott is assisting the Regional Director of the South America Region with strategic projects, working with the national churches and regional ministries to become even more effective in their developing and sending of new Nazarene ministers and missionaries. Emily is the Regional Personnel Coordinator and will be assisting the missionaries of the South America Region with tasks such understanding their health care benefits, how and when to take a sabbatical, and scheduling deputation time (just to name a few!).
Emily enjoys cooking, learning new hobbies (playing the piano and crocheting), eating ice cream, and hosting parties.
Scott’s passions are Christ and his mission, family, sports, and good food – in that order.
