Maximum Mission Integrates District Ministries in Nicaragua

By: Icsa Jared, Missions Mobilization Coordinator

On July 21 and 22, 2023, with an attendance of 34 participants, a Maximum Mission was carried out in the Church of the Nazarene of Las Palomas, San Miguel, Nicaragua.

The ministries of Missions Mobilization and Nazarene Missions International (NMI) worked together with other ministries, forming a team throughout the organization, registrations, food, lodging and the various outreach activities.

Nazarene Youth International supported sports strategies and led youth evangelism. Evangelism ministry leaders helped organize a house-to-house evangelistic crusade in the community. Hand in hand with Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, we made house-to-house visits, praying for the sick and delivering food baskets to people with nutritional needs. Nazarene Discipleship International played an essential role in carrying out activities with the children.

As a result of the event, three adults and 11 children accepted Christ. We give glory to God for the unity between the ministries of the district and even more for this time of sowing seeds and harvesting in the Las Palomas community.

“I pray also…that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me, and I am in you…so that the world may believe that you have sent me” (Juan 17:20-21).
