40 Days of Prayer for the City

As the GENESIS ministry in the Mesoamerica Region, we have been preparing our annual Prayer Campaign, focused on interceding for the cities of our nations. We deeply thank Carlos Castro and Sugey Barrón, and also a team of translators who have worked hard on this project for several months.

This year the reader will notice some small changes in the format. We have identified a key verse that is about the city or some topic closely related to urban needs. Of course we have written a prayer that can serve as an example or “impulse” to start our intercession. And this time we have decided to highlight one or two cities from each country in our diverse region. Some are very big, and others not so much. But our hope is that we get to know new cities, and that we pray, of course, for all of them!*

Every day from January 1 to February 9, we will be publishing images on the social networks of Mesoamerica Genesis that will contain the information of that day in a nice format. Share these and tag other leaders when we post them! *Although one city will be highlighted each day of the campaign, you are expected to pray not only for that one city, but for many others (in fact, with an emphasis on the city where you live).
