Father, give us eyes to see others as You see them, especially the ones that are different from us with different opinions than us: people we have been ignoring and not “seeing.”
Reform and break down our attitudes and the walls we build that devalue human beings that You care for.
Help us stop measuring others by what they look like on the outside.
Help us discern the hearts that cry for meaning, purpose and identity.
Give us desire to establish relationships with people that are not like us.
Show us ways to help all people feel safe and accepted.
Shed Your love abroad in our hearts by Holy Spirit.
There is no fear in love.
Love never fails.
We choose to obey Your command to show your love to the people of this city… one relationship at a time.
