The global missionary movement was born in prayer and will only survive by prayer. A fundamental challenge is to have partners and friends in prayer for all the Nazarene missionary areas.
Throughout history, NMI has encouraged congregations around the world to actively participate in times of prayer.
What we identify today as the Global Week of Prayer began in 1996 as the Nazarene World Week of Prayer.
This week, the Global Week of Prayer 2022, which begins on February 27 and ends on March 5, will be the 26th year of NMI calling the church to pray for the needs of our global churches and districts with requests and praises collected of the leadership of the regions.
Our resources for 2022 include a resource booklet, prayer requests and prayer stories for each day, beginning with a call to unity from the Board of General Superintendents and praying for each of the requests from the six regions of the Church of the Nazarene.
